The Downtown YMCA

Huntsville Utilities had a vision to bring excess space in the downtown facility up to modern build-out standards. That vision was shared by the Heart of the Valley YMCA leadership, who leased the space for a state-of-the-art health and fitness center in downtown Huntsville.

The construction was managed from budgeting, through the competitive bid process, and constructed by JSBC as Construction Manager.  The highest quality was maintained and still allowed for timely project delivery.  A demanding off-hour schedule involving plumbing above the Huntsville Utilities Emergency control center exemplifies the challenges of this demanding project.
