Mezza Luna, Huntsville, AL

Features in this popular south Huntsville bistro include installation of a wood-burning pizza oven and cast-in-place architectural concrete bar tops with integral concrete sinks and suspended “clouds” back loaded with unfaced batt for inexpensive sound control. 

JSBC was brought on to the team in the initial planning phase, and all cost and schedule objectives were met.

In 2009, the Alabama chapter of ASID awarded the project and Matheny-Goldmon interior designer Abby Owen first place in the Hospitality Division.
