When Joe Still Building Company was incorporated in 2004, its principals decided these would not just be words, but guiding principles that every JSBC associate would incorporate into every project we undertook. The considerable experience of its senior managers and superintendents, combined with the enthusiasm and energy of our newer associates, has helped make this goal a reality.
Efficiency 
We effectively coordinate resources to reach scheduled milestones. Our experience in building projects ranging from small buildings to mid-rise projects has taught us the complexities of time management and effective planning. We present reasonable, properly planned construction schedules that incorporate conceptual and detailed estimates, and then manage the project so that it is delivered as promised.
Quality
Quality begins in the planning phase. Our preconstruction input starts with the development of the initial quantity survey, budget and schedule. Each of these elements is balanced with the owner’s needs (operationally, financially, and logistically), as well as coordinated with the capacity of the architects and their consultants. Because we recognize that construction projects are a team effort, we build quality by first building a team environment based on strong communication and excellent planning. We follow through with open and honest communication with our clients and designers, and continually study options in materials, details, phasing and sequencing; we then select the strongest sub and vendor support group based on open competition. Most importantly, we take pride and delight in building high quality facilities that truly meet or exceed our clients’ expectations.

We understand how important cost and control are to a successful project. Our projects have clearly defined budgets based on significant research and planning before construction starts. We control cost by effective planning and resource management. We work closely with clients and architects to ensure that all costs are properly anticipated in advance.
